PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br />' April 2, 1974 <br />The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board was called to order by <br />the chairman Dr. Clarke with members L. Brown, S. Brown, MacKenzie, <br />planning director Briggs and secretary Mrs. Snow present. Also in <br />attendance was Frank Sandy, CLC. <br />The minutes of Planning Board meeting of March 4, 1974, were approved <br />as corrected. <br />Draft of a letter to the Register of Deeds, authorizingsignatures <br />of Planning Board members, and of Kenneth G. Briggs if authorized <br />by the Board, on plans and instruments was reviewed. The letter <br />was signed by members present and Mr. Briggs. <br />Planning Board draft report by Mrs. Brown and Mr. Briggs on the <br />Flintlock rezoning proposal (Articles 103/104) was reviewed and <br />approved as written. <br />Final draft of the Planning Board report on Articles 83/84 <br />(RD Zoning) was reviewed and approved as corrected. <br />Draft report by Mr. Brown and Mrs. Brown on Planning Board Wetland <br />Articles 73, 74, 75 and 76 was approved as corrected. <br />Planning Board report on Citizens' Wetland Article 102 was reviewed <br />and approved as written. Petition of Village Development Corp. <br />(Lowell Estates/Stoico) to the Board of Appeals for a special <br />permit for a Planned Unit Development, and lot layout plan on <br />photogrammetric map, prepared by the planning director, were <br />reviewed. Conservation Comm. is to be consulted as to its <br />recommendations for conditions regarding wet areas and location <br />and size of a holding pond. <br />Plans of SMM/Spaulding & Slye for office buildings on Forbes Rd., <br />as requested variances on setbacks, parking lot location, stall <br />size, and parking space ratio were reviewed. Mr. Briggs will <br />draft a letter of recommendations to the B/A for consideration of <br />the Board on April 8. <br />Definitive plan for Farmhurst, Sec. 5 subdivision, submitted on <br />March 20, 1974, was reviewed. The developer, Richard Hamilton, <br />will be requested to supply proposed contours on the plan. A <br />letter in opposition to construction of the subdivision, <br />received on March 29, from Mrs. Solomon, abuttor, was noted and <br />will be read at the public hearing, to be held on May 6. <br />Frank Sandy's letter and motion on RD Articles 83/84 were reviewed. <br />Mr. Sandy, who was present, participated in discussion of concept <br />' and implications of the motion.
