PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br />January 14, 1974 <br />The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board was called to order at <br />7:40 p.m. by the chairman Dr. Clarke with members L. Brown, Graham, <br />planning director Briggs and secretary Mrs. Snow present. Also in <br />attendance were Frank Sandy, CLC, Kenneth Kreutziger, DAC, Mary Sepucha, <br />LWV, and Rosemary O'Leary, Lexington Minute -Man. <br />The minutes of Planning Board meetings of December 26, 1973, and January <br />2, 1974, were approved as amended. MINUTES 12/26/ <br />73 & 1/2/74 <br />Letter dated January 8, 1974, from Theodore L. Freeman, President, MINUTEMAN RIDGF <br />Kerrie Realty Trust, requesting three waivers from the Subdivision Regu-WAIVERS <br />lations for Minuteman Ridge subdivision, was reviewed. Upon a motion <br />duly made and seconded, it was voted to grant the waivers as follows: <br />The Planning Board waives the fifty foot right-of-way requirement and <br />permits reduction to a forty foot right-of-way width. <br />The Planning Board waives the thirty foot pavement width requirement <br />and permits the installation of a twenty-four foot pavement width. <br />The Planning Board waives the requirement for installation of side- <br />walks as stated in Section 7.3.5 of the Rules and Regulations Govern- <br />ing the Subdivision of Land in Lexington, Mass. <br />Revised linens showing corrections as recommended by the Town Engineer <br />' were reviewed. Requirement of provision of "dry" sewer in the subdivision <br />by the developer was considered. Mr. Briggs will investigate proximity <br />of Town sewer to the subdivision and any plans for sewer in the area in <br />the future. A Certificate of Action will be drafted by Mr. Briggs for <br />consideration of the Board on Jan. 21. <br />Plan showing Conservation Land Taking under Article 55 of 1973 (Porter FORM A74-3 <br />land at Lowell St.), submitted with Application Form A74-3 on Jan. 14 PORTER CONS. <br />by James E. Chase, for the Town of Lexington, was reviewed. Upon a LAND/T. OF LEX. <br />motion duly made and seconded, it was VOTED: <br />The plan entitled "Plan of Land in Lexington, Mass.", dated Jan 4, <br />1974, by Roger M. Corbin, submitted by James E. Chase, Town Engineer, <br />with Application Form A74-3, showing Conservation land taking under <br />Art. 55 - 1973, at Lowell Street, requires no approval under the <br />Subdivision Control Law. <br />The plan was so endorsed by members of the Board. <br />At 8:15 p.m. Messrs Manzo,and Lurie, Spaulding and Slye Corp., and Mr. SPAULDING & <br />John McKee, developer, were present to informally discuss plans to be SLYE/FORBES RD <br />submitted to the Board of Appeals in the near future, for buildings on OFFICE BLDGS. <br />one lot (#1 Forbes Rd.). Variance will be sought to allow construction B/A <br />of two buildings on the 5 1/2 acre lot. Renderings showing one 2 -story <br />and one 3 -story building (Minuteman Research Park) were shown and proposed <br />' parking provisions discussed. A set of the plans and descriptive memo- <br />randum were left for review by the Board. <br />
