PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br />October 26, 1970 <br />Mr. Eisenberg's set of "Road Grading Plans", showing topography above CLEMATIS BROOK <br />elevation 210, for the proposed Clematis Brook Village were reviewed VILLAGE <br />by the Board. The Planning Director explained suggested changes he had <br />made on one of the site plans. Residents from the area were told that <br />after preliminary plans are finally proposed there will have to be <br />guarantees by a limited dividend corp. The town may enter into an <br />agreement which will provide payment in lieu of taxes based on gross <br />revenue. Trinity Covenant Church may come in for the zoning change <br />to multi -family at the next Special Town Meeting. <br />The Board discussed the Ingleside subdivision, Carnegie P1., and CARNEGIE PL. <br />agreed that the planning director should write to the Conservation INGLESIDE <br />Commission inviting them to meet with the Planning Board to find a SUBDIVISION <br />solution to the "pond" problem under the Hatch Act or the original <br />subdivision approval conditions. <br />The Board approved the Planning Director's proposed suggestions TOWN REPORT <br />for the Town Report glossary. GLOSSARY <br />Chairman Lund called to order the regularly scheduled meeting for <br />October 26 at 7:30 p.m. with members Worrell, Graham, Clarke and <br />Mrs. Brown, DAC representative R. Galehouse, and planning director <br />Zaleski, present. <br />Upon a motion duly made and seconded, contingent on the receipt of <br />DRUMMER BOY <br />the request in writing for extension by October 27, the Board unan- <br />ONEIDA CORP. <br />imously VOTED: <br />EXTENSION <br />To extend to November 24, 1970, inclusive, the time within <br />OF TIME <br />which the Planning Board must act on the definitive subdivision <br />plan entitled "Drummer Boy", August 18, 1969, revised to Sept. <br />1, 1970, as requested by the Oneida Corp., applicant. <br />The minutes of October 19, 1970 were approved as amended. <br />10/19 MINUTES <br />Letters to the Board of Appeals with recommendations in opposition <br />LETTERS TO <br />or for clarification were discussed by the Planning Board on the <br />B/A <br />variances or special permits requested by the following: <br />Lexington Gardens <br />Heywood, 72 Waltham St. <br />Gaklis, 1265 Mass. Ave. <br />The letter concerned with 1265 Mass. Ave. was signed by the chair- <br />man. The other letters will be revised before mailing. <br />The chairman displayed the 3 site plans and explained the latest <br />MEAGHERVILLE <br />' <br />memorandum on "Meagherville" received from JGA to the more than 40 <br />JGA <br />residents who crowded the room. This supplementary data, considered <br />incomplete and more than a month late, included information on the <br />possible methods of financing a development, subsidies, ownership and <br />taxes and income to the town, but did not fulfill the expectations of <br />the Board, since it lacked the promised traffic and engineering data <br />and information on the number of children who hn uld be attending school. <br />Residents were assured that after the preliminary report and plans were <br />received there would be two information meetings. The Town Meeting <br />will have to vote on any zoning changes.
