1 1 LEXINGTON PLANNING BOARD April 27, 1970 The regular meeting of the Planning Board was held in its office on Monday, April 27, 1970. Chairman Lund opened the meeting at 7:30 p.m. with members Clarke, Graham, Worrell, Brown and Planning Director Zaleski present. Robert Lyon, a local realtor, met with the Board at 7:30 p.m. to present ROBERT LYON a proposal to discuss with property owners in the Center a plan for the PARKING AREA development of a municipal parking area in the heart of the block between IN CENTER Muzzey and Clarke Streets. He would attempt to arrange options for this, and simultaneously options to expand the present lot between Muzzey and Waltham Streets. Mr. John Culp of Justin Gray Associates met with the Board to discuss the development feasibility study in the Meagherville area and the possibility of a technical assistance grant from funds provided under Title 9 of the Demonstration Development Act of 1966 in the amount of $3,000. A letter to the Department of Community affairs, requesting this assistance, was reviewed and approved as amended. Also discussed was the possibility of the Planning Board and Town Engineer participation in the work on the study. Mr. Culp was asked to furnish the Board with a written form, indicating the work and dates with a deadline in September. It was suggested the Town Manager be asked to issue a letter authorizing Justin Gray Associates to commence with a sum specified up to $10,000 and Mr. Graham agreed to serve as coordinator for the Meagherville study. Dr. Howard Smith met with the Board and asked for a consideration of dividing his 2+ acres on Woodberry Rd. into two sizeable lots without the construction of a new road under the Subdivision Control Law. The Board felt it should consult with Town Counsel on this matter before giving Dr. Smith an answer. Upon a motion duly made and seconded, the Board VOTED: To extend to June 2, 1970, inclusive, the time withing which the Planning Board must act on the definitive subdivision plan entitled "Idylwilde Farm", dated December 29, 1969, as requested in writing by the developer. OF TIME to extend to June 2, 1970, inclusive, the time within which the FOR PL. BD. Planning Board must act on the definitive subdivision plan entitled ACTION - "Springdale Estates", dated July 13, 1969, as requested in writing SPRINGDALE EST. by the developer. Upon a motion duly made and seconded, the Board VOTED: EXT. OF TIME To extend to June 2, 1970, inclusive, the time within which the FOR PL. BD. Planning Board must act on the definitive subdivision pile entitled ACTION - "Drummer Boy", dated August 18, 1969, as requested in writing by the DRUMMER BOY developer. Upon a motion duly made and seconded, the Board VOTED: EXT. OF TIME To extend to June 2, 1970, inclusive, the time within which the FOR PL. BD. Planning Board must act on the definitive subdivision plan entitled ACTION - "Village Circle", dated May 12, 1969, as requested in writing by the VILLAGE CIR. developer.
