PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br />April 20, 1970 <br />The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board was opened in its office <br />in the Town Office Building at 7:30 p.m, on April 20, 1970 by Chairman <br />Lund with members Brown, Clarke, Graham, Worrell and planning director <br />Zaleski present. <br />Mr. Philip Herr and Mr. John Myer met with the Board to discuss the <br />proposal for the Meagherville study. Following a general discussion <br />of the various approaches to and aspects of the study, Messrs. Herr <br />and Myer withdrew. <br />Next, Mr. John T. Brown met with the Board to discuss his Mbagherville <br />proposal. <br />After Mr. Brown withdrew, Mr. Robert H. Colbourne, his attorney, Mr. <br />Jenney and Mr. and Mrs. Snyder, prospective purchasers of Lot B, met <br />with the Board and submitted for endorsement as not requiring approval <br />"Plan of Land in Lexington, Mass.", dated April 19, 1970 by David W. <br />Perley, C.E., together with the application form A #70-13. It was <br />noted that Lot B has no street frontage and 102 ft. along a right-of- <br />way known as Mountain Rd., while Lot A has 150 ft. on the same right- <br />of-way. It was decided to check with the Town Counsel whether the plan <br />would qualify for endorsement with a notation "Lot A not to be built <br />upon unless frontage is provided on a street built to town specifications." <br />The minutes of the meeting of April 13, 1970 were approved as amended. <br />The letter prepared by the planning director conveying Planning Board's <br />recommendations relative to the proposed D & B office building on <br />Militia Dr. was approved and signed. <br />MEAGHERVILLE <br />'PROPOSALS <br />HERR - MYER <br />MEAGHERVILLE <br />JOHN BROWN <br />R.H.COLBOURNE <br />FORM A #70-13 <br />MOUNTAIN RD. <br />MINUTES APPROVED <br />B/A F & D <br />D & B REALTY <br />The Board next voted to go into executive session to discuss matters EXEC. SESSION <br />the disclosure of which could adversely affect the reputation of any MEAGHERVILLE <br />person or the financial interests of the Town. Following a discussion STUDY <br />of the merits of the various proposals for the Meagherville study, the <br />Board resumed open meeting. <br />Upon a motion duly made and seconded, it was VOTED: JUSTIN GRAY <br />To authorize the chairman to negotiate with Justin Gray Associates ASSOCIATES <br />for the Meagherville housing study as authorized under Article 98 of MEAGHERVILLE <br />the 1970 Annual Town Meeting, subject to adequate engineering STUDY ART. 98 <br />support by Justin Gray and Associates. OF 1970 ATM <br />It was also decided to ask New England Aerial Surveys for the cost of NEW ENG -SURVEY <br />such photogrammetric map and to authorize the chairman to arrange for MAP OF AREA <br />the aerial topographic survey. <br />Proceeding to the consideration of the 1970 work program, the Board 1970 WORK <br />discussed the various proposals contained in the chairman's memo of PROGRAM <br />April 6, 1970 and agreed on a part of this work program as noted on <br />the enclosed list. <br />IThe meeting adjourned at 11:10 p.m. <br />Eric T.
