PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br />February 19, 1968 <br />A regular meeting of the Lexington Planning Board was <br />held in its office, Town Office Building, on Monday, February <br />19, 1968. The meeting was called to order by chairman pro - <br />tem Francis T. Worrell with members Greeley and Lund, and <br />Planning Director Zaleski present. <br />Minutes of Planning Board meetings of February 5 and <br />12, 1968 were approved. <br />A group of about 23 interested residents appeared be- <br />fore the Board to discuss the proposed rezoning to A 1 of <br />the Corazzini land at Blossom St. and Lawn Ave. Mr. Holland <br />submitted a petition signed by 122 residents and a map show- <br />ing the extent of opposition and Messrs. Gould and Brigham <br />spoke of anticipated traffic problems and hazards. <br />Messrs. Compagnone, Walsh and Mrs. Walsh met with the <br />Board to discuss the question of a subdivision on Denver St. <br />The Board voted unanimously to accept the Lexington Farms sub- <br />division plan dated February 12, 1968 for advertising and <br />processing as a subdivision and to consult the Town Counsel <br />regarding the possibility of simplifying the procedure of <br />approving the lots. <br />Attorney Dean Nicholson met with the Board to discuss <br />the refusal of the Planning Board to endorse as not requir- <br />ing approval a plan showing a reduction in size of lot at <br />304-302 Marrett Rd. It was decided to check with the Town <br />Counsel. <br />Upon a motion duly made and seconded the Board voted <br />unanimously to request the Town Counsel to prepare and have <br />executed by the applicants the agreements for the approval <br />of Battle Green Park subdivision. <br />Upon a motion duly made and seconded the Board voted <br />unanimously to request the Town Counsel to prepare and <br />have executed by the applicant the agreements for the <br />approval of Centre Estates (Carol La.) subdivision. <br />Resuming the discussion of the Corazzini rezoning <br />article the Board agreed to hold off a decision for one <br />week to give the absent members a chance to discuss it. <br />Upon a motion duly made and seconded, the Board voted <br />unanimously to go into executive session to discuss matters <br />the premature disclosure of which could adversely affect <br />' the financial interests of the town or the reputation of any <br />person.
