PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br />IMay 8, 1967 <br />A regular meeting of the Lexington Planning Board <br />was held on Monday, May 8, 1967 in its office, Town Office <br />Building. The meeting was called to order by Vice-chairman <br />Riffin at 7:30 p.m. with members Fowle, Lund and Worrell, <br />and Planning Director Zaleski present. <br />Minutes of the meeting of May 1, 1967 were approved. MINUTES <br />The plan submitted with Form A, as follows, was re- <br />viewed by the Board and endorsed as not requiring approval FORM A <br />under the Subdivision Control Law: <br />667-10, submitted May 5, 1967 by Robert L. Higgins, <br />Asst. Town Engineer; plan entitled "Plan of Lots lA Town of <br />and 1B Round Hill Road, Lexington, Mass.", dated Lexington <br />April 21, 1967, John J. Carroll, Town Engineer. <br />Mr. Conroy, Attorney for Benjamin Greene of Spring REZONING PROPOSAL <br />St. met with the Board to discuss the petition for the - <br />rezoning of Greene and Gallagher land at Rte. 2 and Spring GREENE-GALLAGHER <br />St. from R 1 to C 3. <br />The Board next voted to go into executive session to <br />discuss matters the.premature.disclosure.of which may affect <br />the financial interests of the Town. Following a discussion <br />of future zoning, including a review of preliminary pro- <br />posals by Mr. George Johnson of Metcalf and Eddy, the Board <br />voted to resume open meeting. <br />Messrs. Van Buren, Wiederhold and Dr. Barrett met <br />briefly with the Board to discuss an alleged zoning viola- <br />ZONING VIOLATION <br />tion at 64 Wheeler Rd., particularly as regards parking a <br />WHEELER RD. <br />commercial vehicle in R 1 district. Mr. Worrell left the <br />meeting at about 9:00 p.m. <br />Board of Appeals notices of hearings to be heard on <br />May 23, 1967, as follows, were read and noted: <br />HOARD OF APPEALS <br />Viola Norlin Mark Moore <br />Thomas Connors Garry Margolius <br />Hearings <br />George Avakian Alan Barrett <br />Ray Howland <br />It was decided to recommend 'that the location, size <br />and layout of nursery home, parking, etc. be shown in time <br />Nursing Home <br />to enable the Planning Board to review it. <br />' <br />Selectmen Cataldo met with the Board to discuss in <br />executive session matters the premature disclosure of which <br />adversely affect financial interests of the town.
