PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br />June 6, 1966 <br />A regular meeting of the Lexington Planning Board <br />was held on Monday, June 6, 1966 in the Board's Office, <br />Town Office Building. The meeting was called to order <br />by Vice-chairman Greeley at 7:30 p.m. with members Riffin <br />and Worrell, Planning Director Zaleski, and Planning Intern <br />Warren K. Greeley present. <br />The Board discussed the proposal of Mrs. Riffin to PLANNING BOARD <br />limit appointments with the Planning Board to 15 minutes, APPOINTMENTS <br />unless otherwise voted in a specific instance. The pro- <br />posal was accepted by the Board. <br />A revised preliminary sketch of a subdivision of <br />land at the westerly corner of Worthen Rd. and Waltham St. SULLIVAN PRE - <br />submitted by Mr. William Sullivan, was viewed by members of LIMINARY SUB - <br />the Board. It was decided that the plan should be amended DIVISION PLAN <br />by adding a turnaround at the southerly end of the proposed <br />cross street and that the recommendations of the town engi- <br />neer be obtained before taking a definite position. <br />Mr. Fowle and Mr. Greeley reported on a meeting with UNDERGROUND <br />' Mr. John L. Sullivan of Boston Edison Company relative to WIRING <br />the feasibility of requiring underground wiring in new <br />residential subdivisions. <br />Messrs. Shea, Hutchinson and Clancy of Cabot, Cabot <br />and Forbes met with the Board to discuss the proposed use HARTWELL- <br />of a 5.25 acre lot of land between Westview St. and Hart- LEXINGTON <br />well Ave. The plans were reviewed by the Board and it was TRUST - F&D <br />decided to recommend favorable Finding and Determination by <br />the Board of Appeals with the condition that entrance drive- <br />ways be widened to at least 22 ft. <br />The plan submitted with Form A application #66-21, <br />submitted June 6, 1966 by Hartwell -Lexington Trust; dated FORM A <br />May 10, 1966 by Miller & Nylander, C.E.'s & Surveyors, show- <br />ing the above Cabot, Cabot & Forbes lot was reviewed by the C. C. & F. <br />Board and endorsed as not requiring approval under the Sub- <br />division Control Law. <br />Letter of approval of the preliminary subdivision <br />plan of Mason St. extension (Peacock Farm, Sec.S) prepared MASON ST. EXT. - <br />by the Planning Director was discussed next. Mrs. Packard PEACOCK FARM <br />and Messrs. Pierce and Schmertzler of Peacock Farm Assn. <br />joined in this discussion. The letter was approved by the <br />Board. <br />Next the above Peacock Farm residents brought up the <br />
