PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br />I <br />April 11, 1966 <br />A regular meeting of the Lexington Planning Board <br />was held on Monday, April 11, 1966 in its office, Town <br />Office Building. Chairman Campbell called the meeting to <br />order at 7:30 p.m, with members Greeley, Riffin and Worrell, <br />and Planning Director Zaleski present. <br />Letters from M. Bade re: Rte. 2 (copy of letter <br />to Commissioner Sargent) was read and noted. <br />Copies of letters sent by J. Sussman to Senator <br />Della Russon on H.1394 and to the Selectmen on a study <br />of Tophet Swamp were read and noted. <br />Letters regarding regional refuse disposal from <br />Rep. J. DeNormandie and from Waltham Mayor were read <br />and noted. <br />Notices of meeting of a Symposium on Cities and <br />Towns on April 13 and of the Mass. Federation of Plan- <br />ning Boards on May 4 were read and noted. <br />' Copy of letter and map submitted by the Selectmen <br />to the State D.P.W. showing slip ramp and rotary at Rte. <br />2 and Watertown St. was read and reviewed. Mr. Zaleski <br />reported on the meeting with Commissioner Sargent rela- <br />tive to this problem on April 11, 1966. <br />Request of Oak Park Corp. for the release of <br />lots 1, 4, 5, 17, 18, 19 was read and referred to the <br />Planning Director for action. <br />Board of Appeals decisions on hearings held April <br />5 were read and noted, as follows: <br />Stop 6 Shop - denied Alan Adams - granted <br />Mary Walsh - granted John Busa - denied <br />Roberts & Roberts - granted <br />Minutes of Planning Board meeting of April 4 were <br />approved. <br />Mr. John J. Carroll, Town Engineer, met with the <br />Board to discuss several subdivision problems. He <br />pointed out that there exists private sanitary sewer in <br />Raytheon land which should be relaid in the proposed <br />street. Also a 12" water main would have to be extended <br />' to the short cul-de-sac and thence in the street to the <br />end of Raytheon land.
