PLANNING BOA RU MEETING <br />I <br />February 1, 1965 <br />The Lexington Planning Board held a regular meeting in <br />its office, Town Office Building, on Monday, February 1, 1965. <br />The meeting was called to order by Vice-chairman Campbell at <br />7:35 p.m. with members Greeley, Meyer and Riffin, and Planning <br />Director Zaleski present. <br />Planning Board "Highlights" were reviewed and approved HIGHLIGHTS <br />for publication with minor changes. <br />After a brief discussion it was voted to authorize the <br />Town Counsel to prepare the release of all lots in the Country COUNTRY CLUB <br />Club Manor Section II upon furnishing to the Town Counsel of MANOR SEC. 2 <br />surety in the amount of $15,000.00 as recommended by the Town <br />Engineer. <br />Upon a written request of the Emerson Gardens Realty <br />Corp. it was voted to authorize the Town Counsel to prepare EMERSON <br />the necessary instruments for the release of the next section GARDENS REALTY <br />of Emerson Gardens to Station 9+55 Emerson Rd. upon the furn- CORP. <br />ishing of a satisfactory surety by the developers. <br />A public hearing for the Outhet subdivision "Pine PINE KNOLL <br />' Knoll Sec. One" off Marrett Rd. was set for March 1, 1965. <br />Upon a written request by Ralph H. Hall, Trustee of <br />the S & A Trust, the time for Planning Board action on "The THE ORCHARD <br />Orchard Sec. One" subdivision (Bloomfield St. extension) was <br />extended to and including February 8, 1965. <br />At 8:00 p.m. an advertised public hearing was held on <br />the petition of Robert Carrig, Trustee of Girrac Realty Trust MINUTE MAN <br />to rescind the approval by the Planning Board on May 27, 1963 HIGH LANDS SEC. 4 <br />of the plan of Minute Man High Lands, Section IV, dated Feb. <br />27, 1963 and revised May 14, 1963. Mr. Robert Carrig and Mrs. GIRRAC REALTY <br />Richard Morehouse of 37 Moon Hill Rd. attended the hearing. <br />Mr. Greeley reported on the meeting of the committee <br />on the study of the Central Business District at 4:00 p.m. <br />February 1, 1965 <br />Mr. Campbell read the correspondence on the acquisi- <br />tion of Lidberg land at Adams St. for Emerson Rd. right-of-way. <br />Letter from the Framingham Planning Board regarding a <br />Bill #1147 to make the submission of preliminary subdivision PRELIMINARY <br />plans mandatory was read. After a brief discussion it was SUBDIVISION <br />decided not to support Bill #1147 and to reply that the Plan- PLANS BILL <br />ning Board appreciates the usefulness of preliminary plans and <br />would support the proposed bill only if the Federation of Plan- <br />ning Boards would discuss and favor it. <br />
