PLAN 7T7G BOARD MEET TNG ' March 41 1963 A regular meeting of the Lexl-mon Planning Board was held in the Boarr''s office, Town Office Building, on Monda7r, March 4, 1963 at 7:40 p.m. Present were Chairman Grindle, members Campbell, Mabee and Meyer, and Mr. Snow, Planning Director. The Board approved for payment the follow- ing bills which had been presented: Wallace B. Mitchell Co,, draftinT* and bluenrintinv sunplies-- $20.83; H. ". T�cArdle, office supplies --'"'6.50; Minute -man Publications, Inc., publishing; legal noti.ces--z�15.92. Called to the Board's attention were copies of letters from the Board of Appeals and from the Board of Selectmen appointing respectively Mr. Charles T. Abbott and TFr. Otis S. Brown, Jr. to serve on the committee to study the desirability of creatines additional historic districts as authorized by the vote adopted under Article 8 of the warrant` for the Srecial Town Yeeting held. on January 28, 1963. The Board next reviewed the background in regard to laying out as a town war about 480 feet of Winter Street westerly and southwesterly of lan7ewa7, and an older petition of several Vears requesting thnt the portion of 'linter Street ex- tending from Grove Street to Ranaewa7 be named 'Volunteer '-'a7." (See Planning T3oard minutes of Feb. 17, 1958 and Oct. 15, 1962.) The 7oard then held a -uhli.c reari_n� on the question of charming to Volunteer ?,lair the name of '.^Tinter Street, for that hart of an accented way extending from Grove Street sorthwesterl7r as shown on two plans on file in the office of the Token Clerlr, one of which is entitled.
