PLAN 7T7G BOARD MEET TNG <br />' March 41 1963 <br />A regular meeting of the Lexl-mon Planning <br />Board was held in the Boarr''s office, Town Office <br />Building, on Monda7r, March 4, 1963 at 7:40 p.m. <br />Present were Chairman Grindle, members Campbell, <br />Mabee and Meyer, and Mr. Snow, Planning Director. <br />The Board approved for payment the follow- <br />ing bills which had been presented: Wallace B. <br />Mitchell Co,, draftinT* and bluenrintinv sunplies-- <br />$20.83; H. ". T�cArdle, office supplies --'"'6.50; <br />Minute -man Publications, Inc., publishing; legal <br />noti.ces--z�15.92. <br />Called to the Board's attention were copies <br />of letters from the Board of Appeals and from the <br />Board of Selectmen appointing respectively Mr. <br />Charles T. Abbott and TFr. Otis S. Brown, Jr. to <br />serve on the committee to study the desirability of <br />creatines additional historic districts as authorized <br />by the vote adopted under Article 8 of the warrant` <br />for the Srecial Town Yeeting held. on January 28, <br />1963. <br />The Board next reviewed the background in <br />regard to laying out as a town war about 480 feet <br />of Winter Street westerly and southwesterly of <br />lan7ewa7, and an older petition of several Vears <br />requesting thnt the portion of 'linter Street ex- <br />tending from Grove Street to Ranaewa7 be named <br />'Volunteer '-'a7." (See Planning T3oard minutes of <br />Feb. 17, 1958 and Oct. 15, 1962.) The 7oard then <br />held a -uhli.c reari_n� on the question of charming <br />to Volunteer ?,lair the name of '.^Tinter Street, for <br />that hart of an accented way extending from Grove <br />Street sorthwesterl7r as shown on two plans on file <br />in the office of the Token Clerlr, one of which is <br />entitled. "Plan of 'linter St. Lexington, FTass.", <br />dated. Sent. 7, 1957, Richard J.
