1 <br />CI <br />PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br />March 20, 1962 <br />A regular meeting of the Lexington Planning <br />Board was held in its office in the Town Office <br />Building on Tuesday, March 20, 1962, at 7:45 p.m. <br />Present were Chairman Grndle, members Bryson, <br />Campbell, Mabee and Meyer, and Planning Director <br />Snow. <br />The first matter of business was that of the <br />election of a vice chairman to assist Mr. Grindle <br />In his duties, Mr. Irving H. Mabee was elected vice <br />chairman. <br />Considered and approved by the Board were the <br />minutes of its Public Hearing of March 8 and its <br />meeting of March 12, 1962. <br />MINUTES <br />Approved for pa7ment were the following bills <br />which had been submitted: Lenscraft, transparencies BILLS <br />-X45.00; Minute man Publications, Inc., reprints -- <br />26.15. <br />The attention of the Board was called to the <br />annual meeting of Region 5B of the Mass. Federation <br />of Planning Boards to be held on Thursday, April 12, <br />1962 at 8:00 olclock in the Robbins Memorial Library <br />in Arlington. It was noted that the key -note speaker <br />was to be George Lewis, Associate Professor of Geog- <br />raphy, Boston University, and Visiting Lecturer in <br />Regional Planning, Harvard University. <br />Mr. Snow exhibited an application for approval <br />of definitive plan, Form C, dated March 13, 1962, <br />said plan being entitled 'Minute Man High -Lands Sec- <br />tion Four Lexington, Mass "s dated August 21, 1961. <br />It was noted that the applicant was Girrac Realty <br />Trust, Robert W. Carria, trustee, 17 Dunster Street, <br />Cambridge, Mr. Snow said he bad not accepted the <br />application which was filed .on March 13 for the <br />reason that the annlicaton was not completed in the <br />proper manner.
