PLA'7NTNG BOAFD MEET TTTG <br />' February 121, 1962 <br />On Monday, February 12, 1962 at 7:40 p.m. <br />the Lexington Planning Board held a regular meet- <br />ing in its office in the Town Office building, <br />Present were Chairman Soule, members Bryson, Mabee <br />and Meyer and Planning Director Snow. <br />Considered first was the draft of a letter <br />to the Winchester Planning Board with reference to <br />the Murphy nrelim nar7 subdivision plan approved <br />by the Lexin7ton Planning Board at its last meeting. <br />Said draft w^.s a-nroved by the Board and signed by <br />the Chairman (see addendum). <br />Also approved by the Board and signed by the <br />Chairman was the draft of a letter to the Right -of - <br />Way Engineer of the Mass. Dent. of Public Works in <br />regard to said department's proposed additional land <br />taking and road to serve the Trombetta and Foran <br />lots, numbered 246 Cambridge -Concord Highway and 7 <br />Lawn Avenue, respectively (see addendum). <br />' The attention of the Board was called to a <br />February 7 letter from the chairman of the School <br />Committee and another letter, dated. February Q, <br />from the chairman of the Standing School Building <br />Committee in regard to the Planning Board's memo- <br />randum concerning the C. Henry Jackson property on <br />the Clark Street extension. (See minutes of Janu- <br />ary 20, 1962.) Mr. Soule agreed to make arrange - <br />m ents for a joint meeting of the Board and said com- <br />mittees for the purpose of discussing the possible <br />acquisition of the Jackson land for school and/or <br />recreational nrrposes. <br />The Board approved the minutes of its Jan- <br />uary 20, 196? meeting. <br />Approved for paT-ment were the following <br />bills which had been submitted: Wallace B. Mitchell <br />Co., drafting supplies -46.80; L. M. Foster, Inc., <br />office suppli.es--t5.94; H. M. Lawrence Hdwe.,Inc., <br />drafting supplies --X1.93; Minute -man Publicatio^s, <br />Inc., advertising --7.42 <br />Considered next were the following Form A <br />anplications for determination of planning Board <br />' jurisdiction: <br />MURPHY <br />SUBDIVISION <br />TROMBETTA <br />AND FORAN <br />LOTS <br />JACKSON <br />LAND FOR <br />RECREATIONAL <br />PURPOSES <br />MTNi?TES <br />BILLS <br />FORMS A <br />
