PLA'7NTNG BOAFD MEET TTTG ' February 121, 1962 On Monday, February 12, 1962 at 7:40 p.m. the Lexington Planning Board held a regular meet- ing in its office in the Town Office building, Present were Chairman Soule, members Bryson, Mabee and Meyer and Planning Director Snow. Considered first was the draft of a letter to the Winchester Planning Board with reference to the Murphy nrelim nar7 subdivision plan approved by the Lexin7ton Planning Board at its last meeting. Said draft w^.s a-nroved by the Board and signed by the Chairman (see addendum). Also approved by the Board and signed by the Chairman was the draft of a letter to the Right -of - Way Engineer of the Mass. Dent. of Public Works in regard to said department's proposed additional land taking and road to serve the Trombetta and Foran lots, numbered 246 Cambridge -Concord Highway and 7 Lawn Avenue, respectively (see addendum). ' The attention of the Board was called to a February 7 letter from the chairman of the School Committee and another letter, dated. February Q, from the chairman of the Standing School Building Committee in regard to the Planning Board's memo- randum concerning the C. Henry Jackson property on the Clark Street extension. (See minutes of Janu- ary 20, 1962.) Mr. Soule agreed to make arrange - m ents for a joint meeting of the Board and said com- mittees for the purpose of discussing the possible acquisition of the Jackson land for school and/or recreational nrrposes. The Board approved the minutes of its Jan- uary 20, 196? meeting. Approved for paT-ment were the following bills which had been submitted: Wallace B. Mitchell Co., drafting supplies -46.80; L. M.
