PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br />' March 9, 1959 <br />A regular meeting of the Lexington Planning <br />Board was held in the office of the Board, Town <br />Office Building, on Monday, March 9, 1959 at 7:45 <br />p.m. Present were Messrs. Abbott, Burnell, Grindle, <br />Mabee, and Soule, and Planning Director Snow. Town <br />Counsel Stevens was also present from 8:10 to 8:30 <br />p. M. <br />Mr. Snow was asked to act as temporary chair- <br />man of the meeting for the purpose of reorganizing <br />the Board. Upon motions duly made and seconded Mr. <br />Charles T. Abbott was unanimously elected Chairman, <br />Mr. Thomas S. Grindle, Vice -Chairman, and Mr. <br />Richard z'_. Soule, Clerk of the Board. Mr. Abbott <br />then presided for the remainder of the meeting. <br />There was then held a review of the work <br />which had been accomplished during the previous <br />year and a discussion of the work program for 1959- <br />60. It was decided to re -institute Planning Board <br />office hours which had been abandoned since the <br />' Board moved from its Barnes Building office. There- <br />upon the Board signed a notice in regard to office <br />hours which would become effective immediately. (See <br />addendum.) <br />ORGANIZATION <br />OF THE <br />BOARD <br />OFFICE <br />HOURS <br />The Board approved the following bills which <br />had been presented for payment: From Carry-over BILLS <br />Funds: Spaulding -Moss Co., printing zoning maps -- <br />$37.00; From regular expenses: Graphic Reproductions, <br />white prints--'�2.ql Spaulding -Moss, drafting sup- <br />plies, X18.10 and $3.40; Minute -man Publications, <br />advertising --X8.57; Lexington Highway & Road Mach - <br />inert' Fund, moving furniture -411.50. <br />Considered next were the following Form A <br />applications for determination of Planning Board FORMS A <br />Jurisdiction: <br />#59-15, submitted March 6, 1959 by Arthur <br />Krug, atty. for Owner; plan entitled "Plan <br />of Land in Lexington.. Mass.', scale: ill = <br />20', dated Feb. 6, 1959, Miller & Nylander, <br />C.E.'s & Surveyors. <br />#59-16, submitted March 9, 1959 by John <br />Modoono; plan entitled "Plan of Land in <br />Lexington, Mass.", scale 1" = 401, dated <br />March 5, 1959, Miller & Nylander, C.E.Is <br />& Surveyors. <br />
