7 <br />Many companies that we hope to interest in <br />locating here already have-suburban.office buildings <br />In many other parts of tbe,country,;so that this is <br />a trend. <br />Now, What are the ingredients oP the necessary <br />area for these types of offices? <br />Bear in mind these people are coming in almost <br />all cases from downtown areas .where their offices <br />have been in, the central cities, the so-called congested <br />areas. <br />Now they are getting away from that.Public <br />transportation is deteriorating very rapidly. <br />Congestion in the city for automobiles is getting worse. <br />So that there is a tendency to go out in smaller units, <br />and 'one of the prime requisites is highways. <br />Nov we havetherefore, on this particular site <br />that we are talking about tonight, you Will notice it <br />isat the junction of Route 2 and Route 128. <br />Nov Route 128, as you know, is very much of a <br />major highway in the Boston area. It has been <br />:kproved between $23 and $28 million are being spent, <br />and they lave already been authorized to go ahead and <br />widen this section of 128 north of Route 9. <br />But furthermore, Route '2 is going to become an expressway <br />
