' Planning Board Meeting <br />April 22, 1957 <br />A regular meeting of the Planning Board was <br />held in the Town Engineer's Room, Town Office Build- <br />ing, on Monday, April 22, 1957 at 7:35 p.m. Vice- <br />chairman Jaquith, Members Abbott, Adams, Burnell and <br />Soule were present as was also the Planning Director, <br />Mr. Snow. Mr. Stevens was present from 7:55 to 9:25 <br />p.m. <br />It was moved, seconded, and voted, Mr. Adams <br />not voting, that the following bills which had been <br />presented for payment be approved: Louise M. Baker, <br />secretarial services, period ending April 1$, 1957-- <br />25.00; Bruce E. Howlett, professional services, <br />period ending April 20, 1957--$$2.50; Minute Man <br />Typewriter Service, typewriter maintenance --13.50; <br />Minute -man Publications, Inc., advertising --43.67, <br />In accordance with the vote of the town meet- <br />ing held on November 19,1956 at which a Recreation <br />Committee was established under the General By -Laws, <br />' the Board gave final consideration to the appoint- <br />ment of a member to said committee. It was moved, <br />seconded, and unanimously <br />VOTED: That Fred D. Wells, 58 Prospect Hill <br />Road, be and hereby is appointed to <br />serve as a member of the Recreation <br />Committee for a period of two years. <br />Following the vote there was read to the Board, <br />approved by it and signed by the Vice-chairman, a <br />draft of a letter dated April 23, 1957 and addressed <br />to the Selectmen notifying them of the Planning <br />Board's vote. <br />Taken under consideration next were the Board <br />of Appeals notices for hearings to be held on May 7, <br />1957. It was decided to take no action in regard to <br />the petitions to be heard except that of Ralph W. <br />Galen, D.D.S. From notes taken during the discus- <br />sion Mr. Snow was asked to prepare for the Board's <br />final consideration a letter opposing the granting <br />of said petition. <br />BILLS <br />RECREATION <br />COMMITTEE <br />BOARD OF <br />APPEALS <br />At 7:55 p.m. Mr. Stevens came to the meeting GREEN <br />at which time the Board gave final consideration to VALLEY <br />the application for approval of the Green Valley SEC. 2. <br />Section Two subdivision plan.
