Kingery's <br />March 28, 1957 letter stating his conversations with <br />HANCOCK Mr. Moore in regard to the Hancock Heights develop - <br />HEIGHTS went, the present condition of uncompleted work in <br />said dubdivision, and Mr. Kingery's request that he <br />be given the opportunity to be heard in opposition <br />to any request for an extension of the completion <br />date of the work to be done in this development. <br />The Board decided to write a letter to Mr. Kingery <br />assuring him of the Board's interest in the subdi- <br />vision and the completion of the required work to <br />be performed therein by June 25, 1957• It was to <br />be stated in the letter also that the Board would <br />notify him and all other property owners within <br />the development should there by any request for, or <br />the Board decided to act on the question of, an ex= <br />tension of the date of the completion of this devel- <br />opment. <br />RE -ZONING Read to the Board also was the Selectmen's <br />PROPOSAL March 27,1957letter` confirming its discussion with Mr <br />Mr. Gummere at a joint session of the Selectmen and ' <br />the Planning -Board in which it was agreed that the <br />Boards had no`objedtion to Mr. Gummerels proposal <br />from what they had seen and heard of the plan to <br />date. It -was also understood that inasmuch as the <br />town does not presently have a zoning classification <br />applicable to this particular type of operation, it <br />was understood that the Planning Boardwaswilling <br />to proceed with the` writing of an amendment to the <br />zoning by-law to encompass the type of project pro- <br />posed and to present said amendment at a town meet- <br />ing to be held prior to the summer season so that <br />the entire matter, insofar as zoning is concerned, <br />would be completed by that time. The Planning <br />Board concurred with the Selectmen's understanding <br />of the situation as set forth in said letter. <br />Mr. Snow gave a report of his March 29, 1957 <br />conference with Mr. Cummere in regard to the above <br />proposal with special reference to the boundaries <br />of the proposed project suggested by Mr. Gummere, <br />It was decided to make some modifications in Mr. <br />Gummere's proposed boundaries, Mr. Snow being re- <br />quested to prepare a description of the Board's <br />recommendations for said boundaries and to present ' <br />in written and graphic form these modifications for <br />consideration at the first meeting of the Board when <br />all members were present. <br />
