' PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br />March 20p 1956 <br />A regular meeting -of the Planning Board was held <br />in the Building Inspector's Office, Town Office Building, <br />on Tuesday, March 20, 1956 at 9:00 P.M. All members of <br />the Board were present -as was also Mr. Snow, Planning <br />Director. <br />Prior to the regular meeting, the Board met at <br />8:00 P.M. with the Appropriation Committee to discuss <br />a request for an additional sum of $2000 for assistance <br />in conducting a traffic survey in Lexington with par- <br />ticular regard to a re -study of the need and possible <br />relocation of Worthen Road. <br />As the first matter of its regular business the <br />Board took under consideration the following Form A <br />applications for determination of Planning Board jur- <br />isdiction: <br />#56-20, submitted on March 6, 1956 by Alfred P. <br />' Tropeano, attorney for owners; p3.an entitled "'Plan of <br />Land in Lexington., Mass.," Scale 1' = 3010 dated Jan. <br />17, 1956, Miller and Nylander, C. E. 's & Surveyors, <br />Lexington, Mass. <br />The above plan was one showing Lots 158 through <br />159 facing on Hayward Avenue and is part of a sub- <br />division entitled "'Colonial Heights", dated March, 1910 <br />and recorded in 1910. The Board endorsed the plan. <br />#56-21, submitted on March 6, 1956 by Alfred P. <br />Tropeano, attorney for owners; plan entitled "Plan of <br />Land in Lexington, Mass.," Scale 1" = 30', dated Feb. <br />1, 1956s Miller and Nylander, C. E.'s & Surveyors, <br />Lexington, Mass. <br />This plan was one showing lots 99 10 and 11 on <br />James Street and is part of a subdivision entitled <br />"`Park Heights, No. 3," dated June, 1922 but not re- <br />corded until November 4. 1929. The plan was endorsed <br />by the Board with the notation that ''Lots 9, 10 & 11 <br />do trot comply with the Lexington Zoning By -Law". The <br />lots each have a frontage of 50 feet and Lot 9 contains <br />an area of less than 7500 sq. ft. whereas the Zoning <br />By -Law requires that any lot lawfully laid out and re- <br />corded by plan or deed on or after March 18, 1929 and <br />prior to August 8. 1938 must have a minimum frontage <br />' of 75 feet and an area of 7500 sq. ft. <br />FORMS L <br />
