' PLANNING BOARD. MEETING <br />March 12, 1956 <br />A regular meeting or the Planning Board was <br />held in the Town Engineer's Room, Town Office Build- <br />ing, on Monday March 12, 1956 at 7:50 P.M. Present <br />were Chairman Adams, Messrs. Abbott, Burnell, Grindle, <br />Hathaway and Jaquith, Mr, Snow, Planning Director and <br />the secretary. <br />The Board organized for the current year. It was <br />moved, seconded and unanimously voted that Mr. Adams <br />be made Chairman.. It was moved, seconded and unani- <br />mously voted that Mr. Burnell be made Clerk. <br />BOARD <br />ORGANIZATIO1 <br />BILLS <br />ADAMS <br />ESTATES <br />SEC, 2 <br />PUBLIC <br />HEARING <br />The f ollowinC bills were presented for payment: <br />Fgto Beam Inc., office supplies -- $2.85; A. B. Dick <br />Products Co., one quire stencils -- $3.06; Anne H. <br />Milliken, secretarial services -- $15.00„ Helen E. <br />,Blodgett, mimeographing and mimeographing supplies <br />-- $79.75. It was moved, seconded and unanimously <br />Voted that the bills be paid as presented. <br />At 8:10 P.M. the Board held a public hearing <br />on the application of Louis M. Nystrom for approval <br />of a definitive subdivision plan entitled "Adams <br />Estates, Section Two". The Chairman read the he4r- <br />Ing notice which had been duly advertised and sent <br />to the abuttors of the subdivision under considera- <br />tion and then explained the procedure in conducting <br />the hearing. <br />Mr. Mario DiCarlo, introduced himself as the <br />representative of the developer and described the <br />work to be done and the plans which had been ap- <br />proved by the Town Engineer. It was noted that no <br />town sewer was available to service the lots. It <br />was also pointed out that the performance guarantee <br />for the work tq be done was to be in the form of a <br />conditional approval contract. <br />Mr. Fogg of 79 North Street wished to know if <br />there were a chance of changing the definitive plan <br />at a later date'after it was approved by the Board. <br />He was concerned about the possibility of Suzanne <br />Road being connected with North Street through a <br />parcel of land owned by the developer and situated <br />between numbers 79 and 85 of said way.
