1 <br />1 <br />PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br />January 23, 1956 <br />A regular meeting of the Planning Board was held <br />in the Town Engineerts Room, Town Office Building, on <br />Monday, January 23, 1956 at 8:10 P.M. Messrs, Abbott, <br />Grindle, Irwin and Jaquith were present. Mr. Snow, <br />Planning Director, and the secretary were also present. <br />Mr. Stevens, Town Counsel, was present from 8:55 to <br />9.30. <br />It was moved by Mr. Jaquith, seconded by,Mr. Grindle <br />and unanimously <br />VOTED: that Mr. Irwin be Chairman Pro Tempore. <br />Mr."Irwin read the following bills presented for <br />payment: The Barrett Press, for rubber stam $1.55; BILLS <br />Anne H, Milliken, for secretarial services, 6.25; <br />Public Administration Service, for a •booklet on <br />Planning the Neighborhood, $2.08. It was moved by <br />Mr, Grindle, seconded b Mr. Jaquith and unanimously <br />voted that the bills be paid as presented. . <br />-The Board then took the following Form A ap- <br />plication under consideration: FORM A <br />#56-3, submitted January 23, 1956 by Martha K. <br />Brehm, plan entitled "Plan of Land in Lexington, <br />Mass.,'" Scale 40 ft. = 1 in. July 12,1954 Fred A. <br />Joyce, Surveyor Belmont, Mass. <br />It was moved by Mr. Jaquith, seconded -by Mr. <br />Grindle and unanimously <br />• VOTED: that the plan accompanying Application <br />#56-3 be signed bearing the endorsement <br />'"Lexington Planning Board approval not <br />required under subdivision control law". <br />the Board took under consideration the approval <br />of a house plan for the last of a group of Town -owned APPROVAL OF <br />lots set aside for sale to veterans. It was moved by HOUSE PLANS <br />Mr. Grindle, seconded by Mr. Jagnith and unanimous17 VETERANSt <br />IAT #2? <br />VOTED: That the plan of the house of the appli- <br />cant Arthur W. Collins, for veterans' <br />lois.;2 at 79 Hill Street, Lexington be <br />approved. <br />
