1 1 PLANNING BOARD MEETING onday, Feb. 1, 1954 Present: Grindle, Hathaway, Potter, Ripley. The meeting opened at -7:45 o'clock. In the absence of Mr.' Adams, Mr. Hathaway acted as Chairman. DeVincent 1r. Ernest DeVincent of 76 Concord avenue appeared with plan of land on corner of northerly side of Concord Turnpike and Pleasant street, which he wished signed as not requiring approval. This the Board signed. Hauck Nr* Carl Hauck of Harbell street appeared with plan dated 1912. He owns lots on both sides of the lower end of Harbell street and wished to know, since he owned. -to the center of the street on both sides, if the road could be abandoned. Left for advice of Town Counsel. Later: told the Board had no interest and he could go ahead at his own discretion. DeVries 11r. DeVries and Mr. Kenneth Oates appeared with over-all study plan of land on Lowell street formerly of Pleasant Associates, comprised of 166 lots, dated January 1954. 11r. DeVries wished to get the general idea as to the Board's approval. Left for further study. Philemon St. Since the Board of Registrars required signature on plan of Phil- emon street as previously submitted, upon advice of Mr. Stevens the Board signed. Potter Mr. William Potter submitted for Murray Potter plan of 4 lots of land between I;arrett road and Bridge street for signature as approval not required. This the Board signed. Blackwell The area designated for notification of persons interested in petition for change in zoning as presented by Mr. Blackwell and -others is as follows: both sides Bedford st. from Bedford line to Reed st.; Winter st. to i-larvin and I;arvin st.; Reed st. between Route 128 and Garfield, both sides; both sides Simonds to Blake rd.'and between Simonds and Route 128 (includes Ivan, Eldred, Donald, Calvin, Bernard, Justin); Route 128 to Gar- field as extended to Bedford stl; Hinchey rd.; Westview St.; Sunnyfield area.
