C <br />Monday,April 27,1953 <br />Presents Adams, Grindle, Hathaway, Irwin, Potter, Ripley. <br />-Meeting opened at 7x45 ofelock. <br />Black <br />Mr. Walter Black presented plan showing changes in his original <br />plan which would abandon the end of Slocum Road and combine several lots <br />on Minola Rd. in an attempt to reach the required frontage and area. The <br />plans were taken for consultation with Mr. Stevens as to the legality of <br />abandoning the road, and if so, what the effect would be on the status of <br />the development. <br />Vine Valley Realty <br />Mr. Palermo presented plans showing his "S" curve straightened out, <br />for which he desired tentative approval. Plans were taken under advise- <br />ment and Mr. Palermo was asked for profiles. <br />Ampolo <br />Mr. Ampolo presented plans showing the proposed road changed to <br />other side of house so that ample side yard would be provided, also better <br />entrance to Burlington St. He desired tentative approval. Plans taken <br />under advisement and he also was asked for profiles. <br />Bills <br />The following bills were presented: Rita McNamara, typing two agree- <br />ments, $8.00; Louise Baker, secretarial service, April 6, 13 and 27, j15.76; <br />Adams Press, publishing hearing, Westgate Builders, $7.50. Unanimously <br />voted all bills be paid. <br />Recreation Committel <br />The Recreation Committee comprised of Dr. Howard Foley, chairman, <br />Messrs. Person, Crerie, Samborski, Allen, Potter and Garrity, appeared <br />for suggestions as to a location for a Little League field. They need <br />about 5-6 acres, fairly level, with good access. Sites were suggested on <br />Maple st. beside Gail Smith's land; Baskin land on Williams road; and land <br />beside Countryside on Lowell st. <br />Wilson <br />Mr. A. D. Wilson of 167 Wachusett ave. Arlington appeared with <br />plan showing lots between Marrett road and Spang street which had no out- <br />let. Wished advice as to how this could be obtained. Was advised to get <br />in contect with Mr. Spinello whose development abutts his to try to work <br />
