PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br />' Monday, March 30, 1953 <br />Present: Grindle, Hathaway; Irwin, Potter, Ripley - Adams at 9:00. <br />- Meeting opened at 7:45 with Mr. Potter acting as chairman in the ab- <br />send of Mr. Adams, <br />Bills <br />Bills presented as follows: Louise M. Baker, secretarial services <br />for March, 545.68; Mass. Federation of Planning.Boards, annual dues, $20.00; <br />Rita McNamara, typing agreements, Site & Shelter, $4.00. Unanimouslyvoted <br />these bills be paid. <br />Hearing - _Colonial Develapme`t Co. <br />Public hearing was hold on petition of Colonial Development Co. to <br />extend Foster and Dane roads as per plans of Miller & Nylander dated.March <br />16, 1953 No objectors appeared. It was voted to approve this petition sub, <br />jedt to approval by Mr. Burns and Board of Health with the provision that a <br />temporary cul-de-sac be built at the end of Foster road. <br />Hearing - Leeland Construction Co. <br />Public hearing was held on petition of Leeland Construction Co. for <br />approval as a subdivision a parcel of land on southerly side of Burlington <br />street being a portion of so-called "Graham Farm" with two proposed roads to <br />run southerly from Burlington street for a total distance of approximately <br />1600 feet as shown on plans of Miller & Nylander dated Feb. 7, 1953. <br />Mr. McConchie was present'as petitioner and twelve citizens were <br />present. Questions were asked as to drainage, type of houses, etc. There <br />were no objections. It was voted that approval be given subject to approval <br />by Mr. Burns and Board of Health. <br />Universal Development Corporation <br />Mr. Ducharme appeared for tentative approval of eight lots on Adams. <br />street and Westwood road as shown on plan by Donald Reardon dated May 18, <br />1949. Plans taken under advisement. <br />Silva <br />Mr. Silva cams in looking for plans which had previously been approved. <br />Was advised we would try and locate them in a day or two and let him know. <br />Vine Valley Realty Co. <br />Mr, Joseph Palermo of Murdock street, Somerville appeared for tenta- <br />tive approval of development on property opposite Gant street to East street <br />as shown on plans dated Feb. 2, 1953. Taken under advisement. <br />Robinson Hills <br />Mr. Harvey Newgent appeared for tentative approval of his Robinson <br />
