1 <br />1 <br />1,0710 pay' z4 <br />Monday, March 16, 1953 <br />Present: Adams, Crindle, Hathaway, Irwin, Potter, Ripley. <br />Meeting opened at 7 o'clock. <br />Fire Station Property <br />Motion made by Mr. Ripley, seconded by Mr. Potter that the Select- <br />men be asked why they want to sell the Fire Station property on Mariam <br />street at this time and if they have no good reason, to state that the <br />Planning Board feels it has an interest in the disposal of this land and <br />does not recommend it at this time. Unanimously voted, <br />SUeZ <br />Mr. Hathaway stated be bad secured a figure for complete survey from <br />Sidney N. Schurcliff which was quoted at $204252000, which compared with <br />that received from Adams, Howard & Greeley and George B. Cabot. Mr. Hatha- <br />way stated he felt that in view of the criticism of the Board that a sense <br />of the meeting should be taken as to whether or not they would like to have <br />a complete survey made. <br />MI <br />Meeting adjourned at 7:40 o'clock.to Town Meeting. <br />v <br />Thomas S.
