PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br />Monday, January 12, 1953 <br />ePresent: Adams, Hathaway, Irwin, Johnson, Potter. <br />Meeting opened at 7:55 o'clock. <br />Bills <br />Bills presented as follows Typing Carrig agreements, Rita McNamara, <br />$11.00, Ann Marshall, $4.00. Unanimously voted the bills be paid. <br />Ridge Associates <br />Plans and profiles submitted by Ridge Associates for subdivision show-; <br />ing eleven lots on Match Road, area running from corner of Watertown street <br />and Concord avenue in a northerly direction to Malvern Terrace Extension at <br />Arlington line. Tentatively approved subject to approval by Mr. Burns and <br />Board of Health. <br />Discussion of merits of new zoning law in Waltham described as Limited <br />Commercial. Also, further discussion on parking. It was suggested that Mr. <br />Adams and one other member of the Planning Board contact owners of the two <br />larger plots of land on Edison Way to find out that in the event of the Town <br />taking by eminent domain if they would donate the land, which would be <br />materially benefited, or what their price would be. <br />Silva - Spagnuola <br />Mr. Silva and Mr. Spagnugla appeared for decision on property on Sunny <br />Knoll avenue. Were told that whether or not the old plan of 50 foot lots hadi <br />been recorded, it had sine been recorded as single lot in order to have ' <br />proper frontage for house now built thereby invalidating any previous re- <br />cordings. In order to now build it would be necessary to comply with preadnt' <br />zoning lags. <br />Baskin <br />Mr. Baskin and Mr. Nylander appeared with preliminary plans of sub- <br />division of 40 lots located on Williams Road running northerly between Blake <br />and Gleason roads. Tentatively approved subject to approval by Mr* Burns and <br />Board of Health. <br />Universal Develglnwntnt Care. <br />Mr. Ducharme and Mr. Nylander appeared with plans and profiles of sub -1 <br />division on Burlington street called Kineen Park. phase plans would seem to <br />be unsatisfactory because of only one entrance or exit in hazardous location,j <br />bad grades, etc. Plans taken under advisement. <br />Meeting adjourned at 1000 o'clock. <br />lmb <br />D.
