PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br />Monday, July 14, 1952 <br />Present: Adams, Hathaway, Irwin, Potter, Ripley. <br />Meeting opened at 7:45 o'clock. <br />Crandall <br />Letter read from Mrs. Stephen Crandall, 46 Mass. Ave., Cambridge <br />with suggestions re driveways entering directly on Concord Turnpike. <br />Mr. Adams advised r&s. Crandall that this was not under the jurisdiction <br />of the Planning Board but under State control. <br />Ride Construction Co. <br />Discussion on Ridge development. Mr. Ripley suggested we write <br />them that it has been confirrbed that there is a laid -out street (Udine) <br />leading to their property which the Board feels is a Seasonable solution. <br />Arlington Reservoir <br />Mr. Adams stated he had been by the Arlington Reservoir recently <br />and felt there was a good spot there in Lexington territory which would <br />make a good swimming area. It was moved by Mr. Potter, seconded by Mr. <br />Hathaway, that we offer this suggestion to the Recreation Committee for <br />their consideration. So voted. <br />Bill <br />Bill presented by Louise M. Baker for secretarial service, June <br />2, 9, 11, and 23 0 $5.00 each, $20.00. Unanimously voted the bill be paid. <br />Carrio <br />I�. Carrig requested a date for hearing on Minute Man Development. <br />To be notified we have not as yet had approval from Board of Health on <br />Section 2 and this must be received before date for hearing can be set. <br />Peacock Farm <br />Mr. Henry Fournier and Mr. Compton appeared for tentative approval <br />of Section 1, Peacock Farm, comprised to two lots for model homes, bounded <br />on north by Watertown street, east by A. Penta, and west by Arthur Mason. <br />Tentative approval given and date for hearing set at 8 p.m. July 28, Town <br />Engineer's Office. <br />Also requested tentative approval of remainder of development sub- <br />ject to possible slight changes. Mr. Hathaway moved, Mr. Potter seconded, <br />that tentative approval on complete layout be given subject to possible <br />slight changes.
