PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br />Monday, clay 19,1952 <br />' Present: Adams, Hathaway, Irwin, Johnson, Potter, Ripley <br />Fleeting opened at 7:45 p.m. <br />DeVries <br />The Board studied plans of Mr. DeVries left the previous week. <br />They disapproved of the one opening on Massachusetts avenue which was <br />approximately opposite site of proposed new school, and which they felt <br />would cause a traffic hazard. Mr. DeVries appeared, and it was suggested <br />to ham that he change the opening on Massachusetts avenue to Paul Revere <br />road and make an additional entrance from Massachusetts avenue on the <br />other end of the development. Mr. DeVries agreed and took the plans for <br />alteration. <br />Board of Health <br />It was decided to ask the Board of health to meet with the Board <br />next Monday night. <br />It was decided to ask for $3000 for Sanitary Engineer at Town <br />Meeting, also to suggest a new road opposite Central Fire Station to <br />northwest section of town. <br />Meeting adjourned at 10 o'clock. <br />D. Hathaway, <br />Clerk <br />Mr. Adams announced a meeting of the Planning Boards and Air <br />Force to be held at :334 Boylston street, Boston on Tuesday at 2 o'clock. <br />He read the minutes of the previous meeting. It was stated that if the <br />direction of the present proposed runway were changed it would greatly <br />diminish the danger to the Manor section. It was moved by Mr. Ripley <br />and seconded by Mr. Johnson that the Board go on record as being opposed <br />to the construction of the proposed extension of east -west runway at Bed- <br />' <br />ford Airport as a potentially dangerous landing. So voted. <br />Edison Way <br />Plans submitted of Edison Way were again studied. It was de- <br />cided that the Board approved only of an all -parking lot with one en- <br />trance and one exit and not a finished street. The Board would be glad <br />to meet with Mr. William Ballard and further discuss the matter. <br />Board of Health <br />It was decided to ask the Board of health to meet with the Board <br />next Monday night. <br />It was decided to ask for $3000 for Sanitary Engineer at Town <br />Meeting, also to suggest a new road opposite Central Fire Station to <br />northwest section of town. <br />Meeting adjourned at 10 o'clock. <br />D.
