1 <br />D <br />PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br />Tuesday, May 6, 1952 <br />Present: Adams, Hathaway, Irwin, Potter, Ripley, Burns. <br />Meeting opened at 7:45 o'clock. <br />Lexington Construction Co. <br />Moved by Mr. Potter, seconded by Mr. Irwin that plans for extension <br />of Patterson Road as submitted at hearing of April 28th be approved. So <br />voted. <br />Carri <br />There was some discussion re the suggestions offered at the hearing <br />on April 28 -on petition of James A. Carrig for subdivision on Minute-YAn <br />Golf Course. It was unanimously decided that both the play area and the <br />strip of plantings were impractical. r&. Potter moved, Mr. Hathaway <br />seconded, that the plans be accepted as presented with the exception that <br />there should be a 20 -year deed restriction prohibiting driveways on Turn- <br />pike to apply to lots 22-26 inclusive. It was the feeling of the Board, <br />however, that a committee should be appointed to study that area of the <br />town with regard to schools, play areas, etc. before too much developing is <br />done. <br />Ridge Construction Co. <br />Moved by Mr,. Potter,_.seconded by Mr. Irwin that Ridge Construction <br />Co. be notified that the Lexington Planning Board rejects the proposed <br />layout of land on the northerly side of Concord Turnpike because the Board <br />feels that the entrance on the Turnpike of the proposed road is too great <br />a traffic hazard. This vote is taken regardless of the fact that the <br />State Traffic Dept. has granted permission, because it feels that a more <br />satisfactory solution can be worked out. Unanimously voted. <br />Caryl Realty Co._ <br />It was voted to request Mr. Stevens to be present at the next Met- <br />ing on Monday night to discuss the legality of Mr. Cadario's construction <br />of two entrances on the Turnpike in spite of his agreement -not to do so; <br />also the question of water level in Hatch's Pond. <br />Simeone <br />Mr. Hathaway moved, Mr. Irwin seconded, that a tentative plan sub- <br />mitted by Mr. Simeone showing play area be rejected because of unsuit- <br />ability of land for purpose proposed. He is asked to have the lots join <br />each other. So voted. <br />Bill <br />Bill submitted by Hurray's for $48.65, seven cushions. Unanimously <br />voted the bill be paid. <br />
