1 <br />PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br />Monday, June 4, 1951 <br />Present: Adams, Johnson, Potter, Ripley. <br />Meeting opened at 8 o'clock. <br />The following bills were presented and upon motions duly made and <br />seconded were voted to be paid. Rita McNamara typing agreement, $3.00; <br />Louise M. Baker, secretarial service for May, W.60. <br />Bids -for Printing Zoning By-laws <br />It was decided to notify Hancock Press, Barrett Press, Hampshire Preps, <br />and Mr. Vadeboncosur that bids would be accepted for printing 2..OW copies of <br />Zoning By-laws, to be made with front index together with a number of blank <br />pages in back labeled "Amendments." <br />Robert Innis <br />' Mr Robert Innis of Billerica appeared on behalf of his father who owns <br />property on the corner of School street and Marrett road which had previousto <br />been in C-1 zone but eras changed by new by-laws to R-1. This they desired to <br />have put back into C-1. Mr. Innis was advised that the only way this could be <br />done was by the regular procedure of getting the proper signatures and having <br />it come before the Town Meeting. <br />Ld'-I IMA <br />Considerable discussion followed on time proposed Edison flay. It was <br />voted to ask 1*. Burns to get figures showing parking possibilities according <br />to the Selectmen's plan, parking without the street, and parking according to <br />the old plan; also with additional way going out to Grant street. Mr. Burns <br />also to be asked to lay out area with the idea of the town buying for parking - <br />to be paved clear thru to Depot Sq. - and to procure the cost of putting on <br />blacktop and draining.
