PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br />Monday,January 15,1951 <br />Present: Cromwell, Adams, Caouette, Potter, Ripley <br />Meeting opened at 7:30 p.m. <br />Cadario <br />Letter read from Mr.Cadario's engineer stating that 67J" had been out <br />from the top of spillway, and pond was now at "mud level." <br />Mr.Nicholas DeBonis appeared for Deb Homes,Inc. of Medford seeking <br />approval of plats and profiles for subdivision of a portion of Wheeler Ss - <br />tate on Lowell street as shown by plan by C.B. Northrup, C.E. of Belmont. <br />Tentative approval was given providing a cul-de-sac is built at the end of <br />the street instead of leaving a dead end. <br />7._ <br />A budget for 1951-1952 was outlined as follows: clerical, $300• <br />postage and supplies, $1W; advertising and printing, $350; mapper; W; <br />drafting and professional advice, $200; 4 chairs, $200. <br />Moved by Mr.Adams and seconded by Ur.Potter that these figures be <br />' submitted to the Appropriation Committee. So voted. <br />ConflictingMtreet names <br />Moved by Mr.Adams and seconded by Mr.Ripley that a letter be written <br />the Board of Selectmen stating that this Board recommends that an article <br />be inserted in the warrant asking that conflicting street names be changed, <br />that the problem is urgent and immediate steps should be taken to rowdy <br />the situation. <br />Lin <br />The map showing land of Una on Waltham street and Concord avenue <br />squared to a depth of 200' was approved and it was voted to have an article <br />inserted in the warrant approving return to C-1 district. <br />0 <br />Moved by Mr.Adams and seconded by Mr.Ripley that the Clerk get in <br />contact with Vx.Silva and explain his situation with regard to the zoning <br />laws and that he will have to conform to them. <br />Parking areas <br />Maps were provided showing areas between Meriam street and Edison <br />Way and Colonial Garage and Clarke street, and discussion of parking areas <br />followed. It was voted to invite Mr.Qiano to attend the neat meeting of the <br />Planning Board to be held Monday, Jan. 29 to discuss a plan in regard to his <br />
