PIAMYM BOARD rMING <br />April 11, 1949 <br />Present; Couette, Durns., Potter, Ripley, Cromwell, Adams, Blackwell. <br />The record of the previous meeting was read and accepted. <br />Hillside Avenue <br />The Board discussed the proposed tact title sales of town lots <br />along Hillside avenue. Mr.Couette moved and 11r.Potter seconded a motion <br />that the Planning Board recommends to the Selectmen that they reject the <br />offer of fb?.Larsen for various tgx title lots on hillside avenue unless <br />Ur.Lzrsen will agree to build a connecting road across the open land from <br />Oak street to Hillside avenue nrovided that he furnish appropriate guaran- <br />tees or construct such road before taking title to the land, and submit <br />subdivisions and street layouts acceptable to the Town. Voted unanimously. <br />Bill from Donald Mellen <br />For plotting additional homes on population map. So voted. <br />Zoning By-2&ly ate_ vi_sioon <br />Z 5.3 discussing method of measuring density of land use in G.1 <br />' districts. It was suggested that percentage method be used. 20% adopted <br />tentatively, not nearer boundary than 30 ft., 75,000 ft. minimum total <br />area, 150 ft. frontage. Two areas tentatively picked (a) Tewksbury street <br />and (b) Waltham street. <br />Zoning Revisions - let sizes <br />Mr.Blackwell reconmended two larger lot sizes, 25,000 sq. ft. and <br />452000 sq.ft. Also abolishing all trio family zones except in East Lex- <br />ington.
