Joint Mesting <br />of the <br />' PLANNING BOARD AND BOARD OF SELECTMEN <br />January 18, 1949 <br />Purposes To discuss the Planning Board's proposed Zoning By-law revision. <br />Present: Messrs.Cromwell, Ripley, Adams, Richards, Burns, Johnson, Worthen <br />from the Planning Board and Messrs.Emery.. Gay and Nickerson of the Board of <br />Selectmen. Mr.Blackwell, Mr.Lindstrom and Mr.Lyneh were also present. <br />Mr.Cromwell reviewed in general the major changes contemplated <br />under the proposed revised zoning by-law. A proposed map of zones was dis- <br />played. Basic principles were discussed. Mr.Lynch asked why the metric <br />system was used in numbering paragraphs. He also questioned the paragraph <br />on music teaching. The Garden Apartment 'Zone was discussed. Mr.Lindstrom <br />spoke of minimum lot coverage.
