McCaffrey
The Board looked over a proposed subdivision at 39 Lincoln
Street of land belonging to Mrs. Mary F. McCaffrey. The property
is on the northerly side of Lincoln Street westerly of Audubon.
Road and is divided into eleven lots.
The Board indicated its general approval of the subdivision.
COnmunity Nursery School
Mrs. Teeter, 463 Concord Avenue, had asked the Board if it could
suggest a site for a nursery school. The Board decided to write
Mrs. Teeter to the effect that it did not have in mind a suitable
location but that if Mrs. Teeter would pick out a lot or lots the
Board would be glad to consider the matter of zoning changes if
necessary.
Veteranst Housing
The Selectmen had asked the PlanninW Board for its opinion on
selling 12,500 foot lots out of the Poor Farm property to veterans
for $300. It also wanted to know if the Plannink Board had any
thoughts on the possible use of the property for other purposes.
It was decided to advise the Selectmen that the Board would not
favor the proposal and that the Board did not have knowledge of any
likely use of this property.
Resp tfully Aub tted,
%1
Clerk
1
n
1
