D <br />PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br />December 27, 1945 <br />Present <br />Messrs. Worthen, Richards, Ferguson and Cromwell. <br />United Nations Organization <br />Mr. Alan Adams spoke to the Board regarding the <br />U. N. 0. Project. He hopes to have the town invite the U. No 0o <br />to establish its headquarters in the town, <br />The Planning Board did not conclude favorably or <br />otherwise on the matter. It was considered probable from <br />Mr. Adamts discussion that if the U. N. 0. were established here <br />Lexington would be greatly changed, and would probably <br />acquire many of the aspects of a metropolitan communit7. <br />John J. Burtch <br />Mr. Burtch seeks a hearing on his plans to sub- <br />divide his property located on the westerly side of Lowell <br />Street, the last piece of land in Lexington towards Burlington <br />' adjacent to the Vine Brook Drainage Project. <br />It was decided to invite Mr. Burtch to meet with <br />us on Tuesday, January 15. <br />Adjourned to January 15, 1946 at 8:00 P.
