PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br />December 11, 1945. ' <br />A meeting of the Planning Board was held in the Engineer's <br />Office,,December 11, at 8:00 P.P. Messrs. Worthen, Nickerson, <br />Ferguson, Richards, and Houdlette were present. <br />Mr. Hugh Stubbins, Jr., and Mr. Marcel Breuer of Cambridge <br />appeared before tht- Board to present a preliminary layout for a <br />proposed subdivision on Pleasant St., near the Concord Turnpike. <br />Plessant The owners' land comprises approximately 109,5 acres, subdivided <br />Street into 8 lots, with an access road from Pleasant St., terminating <br />Develop- in a turn -around. The owners plan to build on two of the lots, <br />ment and to restrict the remainder. Discussion centered about the <br />difficulties of topography as affecting road construction work <br />and utilities required to be done by the developers (Bd. of <br />Survey regulations) and a low point at the end of the road profile. <br />It was suggested an easement mightbe maintained between Lots 6 <br />and 7 to provide drainage to Pleasant Street, or by altering the <br />direction and grades of the road. The petitioners are to correct <br />this condition. <br />Preliminary approval was given the plan, which is to be <br />developed in final form, with 1"=40' survey. (Plan is dated <br />12-10-45; Scale 1" =,1001.) ' <br />Annual The Chairman is to prepare the annual report, ready for <br />Report signatures by December 31. <br />Discussion of the Parking Area and Street was deferred to a <br />Parking later meeting, inasmuch as time is too short to prepare article <br />Area for warrant. The Board was in agreement that this project <br />should be followed up, and that time might be devoted to it more <br />intensively as a summer project with outside assistance. <br />Dap.
