Mr. Parker expresse
his willingness to help Lexington in regard to programing. The letter
and the report were placed on file. It was decided to advise Mr. Parker
that, as no Committee was appointed this year on Budgeting and Program-
ing, the Planning Board did not expect to avail themselves of Mr.
Parker's services.
School Sites ,
It was reported that Mr. Greeley had met with the Committee
on School Sites and that Mr. Worthen will meet with them again in the
near future.
W.C.O.P.
The Board of Appeals is to conduct a hearing on February 23
to consider the matter of varying the application of the zoning law:
in connection with the establishment of a radio broadcast station
on the Concord Turnpike, The consensus of opinion of the Planning
Board was as follows:
The Planning Board can see no evident harm in permitting
W.CO.P. to erect a station in accordance with the plans
that are being considered. The Planning Board has not
studied the plans in detail and reserves a right to change
its opinion if it later appears that erection of the station
would be disadvantageous to the town
D
