MEETING OF PLANNING BOARD <br />I <br />November 30, 1944 <br />Presents Messrs. Greeley, Ferguson and Cromwell <br />The minutes of previous meetings from March 20, 1944 to <br />September 25, 1944, inclusive, were approved. <br />The budget of the Planning Board for 1945 was estimated <br />and approved for a total of $250.00. <br />Poison Ivy <br />Mr. Ferguson reported that he had acquired considerable <br />information on methods of poison ivy control. He said that certain <br />chemicals which would be required were not now available but that he <br />understood they might be available by spring. <br />Mosquito Control <br />Mr. Cromwell read to the meeting a letter from the State <br />Department of Agriculture advising him that in 1938 the state had <br />made a survey of,mosquito-breeding conditions in Lexington. The <br />results of such survey had been set forth in a letter to Mr. Raymond, <br />' the then Superintendent of Public Works. A copy of this letter was <br />enclosed. Various pamphlets on mosquito control also received from <br />the Department of -Agriculture were enclosed. <br />All of this material was placed in the hands of Mr. Greeley. <br />Postwar Planning <br />School Sites <br />It was decided that the Planning Board should communicate <br />with the two committees {which it understands have been appointed, <br />on Postwar Planning and School Sites to advise them that it is cable <br />and willing to cooperate with them.- <br />Reap tfuilg tte�dJ, <br />Clerk <br />rC <br />✓c <br />
