MEETING OF PLANNING BOARD <br />' March 27, 1944 <br />Presents Messrs. Nickerson, Worthen, Richards, Ferguson and <br />Cromwell. <br />The Board authorized payment of $28.13 to Carl G. Vienot, <br />Inc. for typing five copies of the report for 1943 of the <br />Advance Programming and Budgeting Committee. <br />The Board voted payment of $50.00 to Fred Newhall for work <br />done ori preparation of the above report. <br />The Board and the fire engineers met with the selectmen to <br />discuss the fire station question. The fire engineers submitted <br />their report to the selectmen and the Planning Board read their <br />report. The selectmen asked to have the Planning Board's report <br />typed and sent to them. <br />The Selectmen apparently no longer favor use of the Barnes <br />property and seem to favor the location near Johnson's garage for <br />the central fire station and the existing site for the East <br />Lexington station.
