PLANNING BOARD MEET ING
I
MARCH 3, 1939.
Present: Greeley, Ellis, Ferguson and Nickerson.
Meeting called to order at 7:45 F. M.
Mr. Greeley reported attendance of the hearing re Middlesex
building of the Middlesex Turnpike. It is the feeling of Turnpike
the Board that the best way to follow progress of this
item is to keep in touch with the State Engineer's office,
Excerpts were read from the Winchester Planning Board Winchester
report for 1938. These had to do with real estate and report
building promotion and covered points of interest to us in
Lexington in view of the fact that we will try to focus
public attention on better development of our town.
It was voted that the board confer with the Selectmen
about tax titles with a view toward examining these to see Tax title
if some could be taken by the town for future use. The property
Board will arrange a meeting of citizens in the near future
to discuss real estate development in the town.
I
The meeting adjourned at 8:45 P. M.
Respectfully submitted,
Clerk.
1
