PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br />May 20 1938 <br />' Present: Messrs, Greeley, Kimball, Ferguson and Nickerson. <br />The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. <br />Mr. Greeley read a communication from Frank Ready pertain - <br />Ing to development of his property on Massachusetts Avenue -at <br />Ready <br />the top of Concord Mill, The Planning Board instructed Mr. <br />Develop - <br />Greeley to refer Mr. Ready to our letter of March 2nd in which <br />Mont <br />we asked him to submit a layout for our inspection. <br />Mr. Greeley was requested to write to the various Real <br />Estate Developers in Lexington to notify them that a different <br />method of procedure now exists in line with Article 211, re- <br />cantly adopted by the Town Meeting, and that they should inform <br />themselves of the new method. <br />Chapter <br />A discussion was held relative to the method submitted by <br />211 <br />the State Planning Board regarding procedure under Article 211. <br />After informal discussion of the material it was decided to <br />concentrate upon this at some future meeting or meetings. <br />Mr. Greeley was requested to get information from the <br />Colonial <br />Assessors regarding the number of tax titles existing in the <br />Heights <br />Colonial Heights Development. <br />' <br />Moved and seconded that the Chairman of the Appropriation <br />Committee be approached by our Chairman with a request that the <br />Appropriation Committee appoint three of their members to <br />collaborate with us in regard to "valueing the land in the Vine <br />Vine <br />Brook Drainage Area, west of Massachusetts Avenue. Carried <br />Brook <br />unanimously. <br />Moved and seconded that Mr. Greeley and Mr. Kimball <br />contact Mr. Steiner with the idea of engaging him to do research <br />work for the Planning Board this summer and to engage him if a <br />Planning <br />financial arrangement can be made which they feel will be <br />Board <br />acceptable to the Board. Carried unanimously. <br />Next meeting called for Mossy, May 9th at 7:45 P. M. and <br />furthermore, tentative meeting dates were established for June <br />13 and June 27 at 7;45 P.
