Greeley, Ellis and Kimball devoted the evening to a
consideration of tentative locations of 10,000 and 20,000
foot lots, a meeting with the Board of Survey to report on
the Vaille Farms petition and a meeting with the Board of
Selectmen to present the Planning Board's views in connection
with the Vine Brook Drainage problem.
At the Board of Survey hearing, objection was recorded
by one party on the grounds that parts of the adjoining
property were not benefited by the proposed layout and that
an alternative plan providing for a through street should be
considered. Vaille
The disadvanta®es of such a street, both as to location Farms
and effect upon lot sizes was pointed out, together with the
suggestion that when and if the adjoining property was develop-
ed, it also lent itself to a treatment similar to the V.aille
Farms,
Note;- The Board of Survey approved the petition layout.
The ground covered with the Selectmen in reference to Vine
Vine Brook was that covered in the report of the Planning Brook
Board meeting for November 18, 1937.
Respectfully submitted,
Glerk
