' PLANNING BOARD HEARING <br />September 2, 1937 <br />A public hearing was held in the Selectmen's Room of the <br />Town Office Building, Lexington, on Thursday, September 2, <br />1937, at 8:10 P. M. Messrs. Greeley, Kimball, Ferguson, Ellis, <br />Kraetzer and Nickerson were present. <br />The Chairman declared the hearing open and the Clerk <br />read the notice of hearing which appeared in the August 19th <br />issue of the Lexington Townsman on the following amendment: - <br />To amend the Lexington Zoning By -Law as follows: - <br />By changing under Section 3. (b), C.1 Districts, paragraph <br />11, which now reads: "On the easterly side of Bedford Street <br />the property known as the Carbarn property, extending from <br />Bedford Street to the Railroad property, and on the westerly <br />sid-1 of Bedford Street extending southerly from a point oppo- <br />site the northerly boundary of the Carbarn property to Reed <br />Street and of a depth of 100 feet from the westerly line of <br />Bedford Street." to read as follows: - <br />11. On the easterly side of Bedford Street beginning <br />at a point on the northeasterly side of Bedford Street said <br />point being northwesterly and distant 145 feet from the south- <br />easterly terminus of a curve of radius 816.4 feet and extend- <br />ing along Bedford Street for a distance of 285 feet and extend- <br />ing in depth to the Boston & Maine Railroad and on the westerly <br />side of Bedford Street beginning at a point on the southwesterly <br />side of Bedford Street said point being northwesterly and dis- <br />tant 154 feet from a stone bound marking the southeasterly <br />terminus of a curve of radius 866.4 feet and extending south- <br />easterly along Bedford Street to the northeasterly side line <br />of Reed Street and of a depth of 100 feet from the adjacent <br />side line of Bedford Street. <br />The Chairman stated that this section referred to the <br />now Public lo;orks Building property and the hearing was to <br />change the wording of the Zoning By -Law. <br />The motion was made and seconded, that as there were no <br />persons appearing in regard to the hearing, the hearing be <br />declared closed. The Chairman declared it closed at 8:15 P,M, <br />Mr. Kimball then read the report which the Planning Board <br />is to present in regard to this amendment at the Town Meeting, <br />' The Chairman asked if the Board was in favor of the report, and <br />it was unanimously voted to accept it. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Clerk <br />
