1 <br />1 <br />PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br />May 25, 1937 <br />Present:- Messrs. Ellis, Ferguson, Kraetzer and Kimball. <br />Consideration was given to a request signed by ten prop- <br />erty owners that the Planning Board take the necessary steps <br />toward amending the Zoning By -Law to change the M.1 District Zoning <br />in East Lexington to an R.1 District. An amendment was pre- Change <br />pared and June 18th selected as the date for the hearing. It <br />was voted that notices should be mailed to owners of property <br />on the easterly side of Mass. Avenue from Fottler Avenue to the <br />East Lexington Railroad Station, those within the present M.1 <br />District, and those between Cliffe Avenue, Theresa Avenue, <br />Fottler Avenue and the Railroad right of way. <br />The Planning Board met with the Board of Selectmen to <br />fill the vacancy created by the resignation of NIr. Neil H. Planning <br />Borden. The Planning Board placed W. Roger Greeleyls name Board <br />before the meeting and he was elected by a unanimous vote. Member - <br />The secretary was instructed to write Mr. Borden a ship <br />letter of appreciation of his services with the Board. <br />After a brief discussion of lot area and frontages, it Lot Area <br />was decided to consider plans for a joint meeting with prop- & <br />erty owners on the west side of the Town at the June 18th Frontage <br />meeting. <br />The meeting was adjourned at 9:15 P.
