J <br />i <br />LA -i' -JUNG BOARD �L13ETING <br />July 23, 1936 <br />A meeting of the rlanning 3oard was held in the Town <br />Office Building on July 23, 1935, at 7:30 P. 'r ., with Supt. <br />of public 710rk-s Trask and Town Engineer Cosgrove.mill <br />members of the Board were present. <br />The proposed Circumferential Highs, -ray, State Route <br />#-2-8y was discussed, pra.marily as regards its layout through <br />Lexington. lar. Cosgrove had prepared a plan showing the <br />State's pronosal, as well as his suggested alternatives. <br />The suggested alignment was also shown on the Airplane <br />Photoes of the Town. <br />After some study and discussion, it was suggested <br />that the Clerk write the Board of Selectmen to the effect <br />that the Planning Board suggests cooperative study of the <br />locc,tion and the la -ring out by the two Boards of a suggested <br />alignment through the Town. After such a plan is prepared <br />the Board feels that it should be recommended to State <br />officials, and. its existence made known to Senator Cotton <br />and Representatives Hollis and Gott. <br />(int a later date Chairman Duffy agrees to write the <br />above letter.) <br />Cir- <br />ferential <br />Highway <br />TIr. Kimball brought to the meeting copies of the parking <br />Traffic Census Report which were signed by all members of <br />the Board after brief discussion. <br />The meeting adjourned at 9:00 P.
