Avenue Amendment and asked him if his feeling was the
same as stated in his letter under date of November 22, 1933, Mr.
Trask stated that the feeling of the Board of Selectmen was the
same as set forth in their letter of November 22nd.
The report on the proposed amendmsnt`(b) under Article 12
of the Warrant for the Town Meeting June 25, 1934 (to be read if
this article is brought up first) was discussed. Motion was made and seconded that the report be
approved as corrected, and it was a unanimous vote. Corrections
were made and the report signed.
The members then went over to the Cary Memorial Building
to see the lantern slide,
Mr. Glynn felt that if the Town voted to put the areas on
the north side of Mass. Avenue in a residential area, it would
Strengthen the Town's view on the triangle because the side of
the avenue with the town buildings will be residence and it is
not probable that the triangle will be changed to business because
it would be putting &.business district between two residence
districts.
It was decided that Messrs, Glynn and Robinson prepare
their reports to be presented from the floor and take care of the
lantern slide.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:35 P. M*
Respectfully submitted,
Roland B. Greeley (Signed)
Clerk
Mases
Avenue
Amend -
Mont
