MEETING OF PLANNING BOARD <br />I May 9, 1933 <br />A meeting of the Planning Board was held in the Town Office <br />Building on Tuesday evening, May 9, 19339 these members being <br />present Messrs. Duffy, Glynn, Kimball, Milne, Scheibe, and <br />Robinson; also Mr. Cosgrove and the secretary. <br />TOPOGRAPHICAL SURVEY, MAPLE AND LORELL STREET AREAS <br />Mr. Cosgrove presented a reoently-completed topographical map of <br />that section of the Town lying between Maple Street and Lowell Street; <br />this being a part of a complete topographical map of the whole Town <br />upon which the Engineering Department is at work. <br />PRINTED FORMS FOR PETITIONS <br />Mr. Robinson presented a draft of a form -letter, and of a blank <br />petition for Zoning changes, which might be adopted for the use of <br />petitioners. The matter was discussed in general but no aotion was <br />taken. <br />LIMITED EPARTMENT BUILDINGS <br />At the request of the Board, Mr. Greeley appeared for the purpose <br />of discussing the proposed Amendment establishing an R-3 Zone. He per- <br />sonally considered the amendment fair, and practical from a working <br />standpoint. He questioned the Board with respect to various items in <br />the propoded amendment. Mr. Greeley further stated that the plot of <br />land concerned in his project, now the property of the Cary Library, <br />is a permanent open space which cannot be built upon, although it is <br />for sale. <br />Mr. Milne pointed out to Mr. Greeley that before the Planning <br />Board brings this proposed Amendment before the Town, some assurance <br />should be forthcoming that if the new zone is created as requested, <br />
