MEETING OF PLANNING BOARD <br />May 2, 1933 <br />A meeting of the Planning Board was held in the Town Office <br />Building on Tuesday evening, May 2, 1933 at 7:45 o'clock, Shese <br />members being present: Messrs. Duffy, Glynn, Kimball, Milne, Scheibe, <br />and Robinson; also the Town Bngineer and the secretary. <br />F. L. INNIS (DAVIS ICE 00.) PETITION <br />A letter from the Selectmen was read, relative to a petition from <br />Mr. F. L. Innis of the A. G. Davis Ice Companjr, asking that the area <br />upon which their property is located, Grant Street, be changed from <br />a 0-1 to an M-1 District, so that the company would be permitted to <br />operate an ice -manufacturing plant. The letter stated that the matter <br />had been brought before the Board of Appeals, and a hearing held; but <br />the latter had declined to allow the installation of machinery in the <br />present zone. A check for $20.00 payable to the Town was attached to <br />the letter, as required when such a petition is presented. <br />A letter to Mr. Innis was dictated, informing him that he must ob- <br />tain the signatures of the owners of 50% in valuation of the property <br />within the following area, in favor of his petition: <br />Both sides of Massachusetts Ave., from Muzzey Street to <br />Winthrop Road. <br />Waltham Street, to Vine Brook Road. <br />All of Vine Brook Road, Fletcher Avenue, Sherman Street, <br />and Sheridan Street. <br />Grant Street, from Massachusetts Ave. to Hayes Lane. <br />Oakland Street, from Meriam St. to Chandler St. <br />All of Stetson Street. <br />The above area was considered likely to be affected by the pro- <br />posed change, with respect to noise, eto., incidental to the operation <br />of an <br />ice <br />producer. <br />Mr. Innis <br />was also asked to designate the boun- <br />daries <br />of <br />the land,he <br />wisheedto <br />have rezoned. <br />
