Ave, was discussed and `.r. Cosgrove was instructed to <br />work o -,_t some further details regarding the acquiring of sait- <br />able land and -,-)robable cost as to development in the event of <br />putting ' a rolad on one or both sides. <br />Consideracle time was ".,iven to the discussion of reviving the <br />project if *Connell and Custanee for the granting of a change <br />in zoning on the land on 71oburn St, near the r4ilroad. This <br />project seems to hale some sli -ht merit over tfte previous pro- <br />position, but the Pro-posal to brink; the b,,zsiness buildings to the <br />street line in violation o� t'he biilding regulation, which e^118 <br />for a 20 ft. set -back, did not meet with the !hoard's approval. <br />The question of utilizing this land for a fire station was taken <br />up, as it-�,ould ay -)pea -r it would nake better accommodations for <br />our ^ire Pe-oart :ent and confine that side of ''ass. Ave. more <br />strictly to community activities than if it were to be turned <br />into a filling station and allied interests. <br />The cu stion of takin` over the Pussell property for additional <br />room fo- the high school and possibly future b,zildinf was left <br />in the hands of the committee who are to report at the next <br />Manning 3oard meeting. <br />The nevi develoo-n-, nt plan of C. doss florash as submitted by fir. <br />0osg -ove was ar,-reed to E.nd the Select..�cn so advised. <br />Sent. 13, 1932 <br />Clerk <br />
