_ <br />< <br />�s <br />PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br />Lekington, Mass, <br />June 30 1930. <br />Present:- Emery, Milne, Duffy,'Scheibe, Town Engineer, <br />Assistant Town Engineer, and clerk, <br />Mr. Alexander quinn of Grant Street has asked <br />for information on Oakland Street extension. Maps of <br />this location were explained by Ass't'Town Engineer. <br />Oakland <br />The.matter was referred to the Town Engineer to present <br />Street: <br />at the next meeting,,.if possible, a layout of direct <br />extension through with profile and estimate of wail <br />Extension <br />constructioh and filling and preliminary showing eon- <br />tinuously-ihe road from Hancock Street through to Woburn <br />Street, and preliminary estimate of cost for each part <br />of the new sections to be built. A letter was sent <br />"Ir. Quinn Informing him that thematter was considered' <br />at the meeting `'but no definite information could` be <br />given at that time. - <br />The school lot plan was -discussed -and examined. <br />The Town Engineer is to furnish a sketch and <br />data showing the widening and improvement of. Allen St,> <br />from 'Naltham Street to Middle Street and the improve- <br />Allen St. <br />ment of Brookside Avenue in view of furnishing proper, <br />Improvement <br />approaches to the proposed school house site, <br />- <br />In studying the proposed water supply for the <br />Middlesex County Hospital, the Planning Board believes <br />Plater <br />it advisable at this time to consider an auxilliary <br />at N_. Co <br />line from the Arlington Standpipe. Described in a general <br />Hospital <br />way, this line would follow along the Arlington -Belmont <br />boundary line to connect with Bowman Street and/or Water - <br />,town Street continuing to Ple asant Street. <br />The meeting was adjourned. at 10:55 P.
