1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />Planning Board <br />Lexington, Mass. <br />!Jinutes of the Meeting <br />Members present: Fmeij, ,Milne, Bowers. <br />October 7, 1929. <br />Hearing before Planning Board on Five Forks Corner <br />proposition as to whether this section should be a business <br />section or whether it shall be decided to recon -.end that this <br />be restored to a strictly residential section. <br />Meeting called to order by Chairman Finery; at 8.15 P. M. <br />Mr. Emery explained the purpose of the meeting. <br />Mr. George H. McDer.r:lott asked about a section of the <br />Zoning Law having to do with Five Forks. He also wanted to <br />know if this meeting was called by Planning Board or b7T fifty <br />per cent of those owners near Five Forks. Tor. Emery answered, <br />°By both". <br />Mr. Heaney objects to Five Forks becoming residential. He <br />loses his temper several times and is told to sit down by Chair- <br />man. <br />Mr. Miller speaks in favor of having residential section. <br />I,Zr. Scheibe <br />in favor of residential section. <br />TO=r . ',','ebb <br />Frank Goldman representing Innes and P:4cClellan, argues that <br />his clients %%ill suffer --that his clients bought land and gave a, <br />seven foot strip of land to the town on School Street on strength <br />of a part of the land being in a business section. <br />Mr. McDermott also makes same objections as Mr. Goldman. Mr. <br />McDermott is interested in Innes and McClellan property as a mort- <br />gagee. He holds a first mortgage of X13,000. given on Oct. 15, 1928 <br />which was raised to "'13, 600. in June 1929.' George Ii. Ie7cDermott is <br />located at 75 Tremont Street, Boston, Mass. <br />
